After testing this camera at the US Open booth, I ultimately decided that I needed it. I am an avid snowboarder in the winter, and a poolsider in the summer. Plus, the added drop protection was nice. That is why I purchased the Olympus Stylus 850 SW camera. This camera comes in a few bright colors, and is overall win by me, with a good value of only $250.
It is water-proof, freeze-proof, drop-proof. It also features face detection, and panorama creation. Of course, it also has the recording feature for quick videos (even underwater).
If you or someone you know needs a safer camera that will not break after one drop, this is the camera for you.
